I'm thrilled to say that the new Verge Music Lab within the Music Mansion facility is launched.  Bands, engineers, and producers are welcome and will find it a veritable music factory.   The design focus was two things, work-flow efficiency and creative vibe... coupled with uncompromising equipment qua...    three things: efficiency, vibe,  and uncompromising equipment quality.  and complementary acoustic zones.

My focus is helping indie musicians make great records by offering affordable production and elite-studio experience.  After honing my studio chops in Montreal as technical director of the venerable Planet Studios I moved here to operate as XM Satellite Radio Toronto's chief sound engineer.  On top of a few records and EPs, over the last four years I've engineered the better part of a thousand XM studio and concert recordings and live broadcasts.  This has simply been an amazing opportunity to work with a multitude of different sounds and to be a part of the development of some of Canada's most talented and creative bands.  I can't say enough about the positive effect of XM, and specifically The Verge, XM87 on both my life and music culture, but I can name a studio in its honour.

My first passion is creative record-making, but having worked in multiple large facilities I've encountered a breadth of audio projects and bring a professionalism to match.  In trying to keep flexible, I accommodate different kinds of budgets and mainly use ProTools HD/LE to maintain compatibility between studios and clients.
